ESR Enterprise Systems Renewal Program Home


The Enterprise Systems Renewal (ESR) program is an initiative that will transform core business and administrative processes across campus. This multi-year program will engage central offices and academic departments to optimize processes and to deploy new systems that will effectively meet the ever-changing needs of our growing University. 

Started in July 2017, ESR is the largest process and technology improvement program ever undertaken at UC San Diego.

Student Information System (SIS)

The Student Information System (SIS) project will replace UCSD's current mainframe student system, which was developed in the 1980s and no longer meets the university’s needs. The new student system will provide a comprehensive, modern solution for the university’s business needs, freeing up employees to focus their time and effort on advancing the education, research and public service mission of UC San Diego.

Faculty 180 

This project is a reboot of the previous implementation of Faculty 180 which was part of our original project for AP Services implementation of Interfolio's Promotion, Tenure, & Review (PTR). There were two phases to the original project and due to a number of reasons/circumstances PTR was implemented and Faculty180 was put on hold. Undergraduate Admissions Project (Slate) (Live)

Slate is the undergraduate admissions process solution implemented in partnership with campus Admissions & Enrollment Services. Slate contact management, outreach, travel management, online applications, and online reading features allow management of all interactions, communications, applications, test scores, relationships, and materials for student admissions.
