titleUpdate to Salary Admin Plan for TutorsTeaching Assistants and Associate Instructors

Effective October 1, 2023, Teaching Assistants and Associate Instructors (Associate-in-lieu and Associate-in dept) have new Salary Admin Plans.

  • Teaching Assistants (job code 002310): T18B
  • Associate Instructors (job code 001506): T19B

For graduate students serving in the above job codes, please use the applicable Salary Admin Plan with any new appointments for Fall 2023, effective date 10/01/2023. The range adjustment should capture existing appointments with the old Salary Admin Plans. If after the range adjustment, you notice your student still has T018 (TAs) or T19A (AIs), please update as outlined above effective 10/01/2023. Updates are reflected on the AY 2023‐2024 Student Academic Title Rates Chart.
