A filter can be set in a way so that the consumer can select their own values.  Although the report developer can limit the values seen by the report consumer.

  1. Right click on the field from the Data Side Bar and Duplicate the field.

  2. Drag the duplicated field to the Filter Cards and select the desired values and then click Ok.

  3. Right Click on the original field and select Show Filter.

  4. We can set the filter which is on the right side of the workbook to show Only Relevant Values. The report developer can also adjust the filter based on their own interest.

  5. After publishing the workbook, the consumer can filter the report through the showing filter.
