December 2018 stipend requests should be submitted no later than Friday, December 7, 2018 to meet domestic stipend payday of Monday, December 17, 2018

Please note that the December 2018 stipend checks will be issued prior to the January 2, 2019 pay date. This change applies only to those stipend checks issued through ProSAM.
Checks will be issued early to mitigate complications, which may result from the campus closure.
Please keep in mind the following for December 2018:
- Students with direct deposit should have their funds in hand by Monday, December 17, 2018.
- Students without direct deposit should have their funds in hand by January 2, 2019 (Note: this is an estimate and depends upon the delivery speed of Mail Services).
- Students with title code 3296 stipend appointments in PPS will receive their stipend checks the week of January 2, 2019. (Title code 3296 stipend appointments must be input to PPS no later than the monthly payroll deadline: http://www-bfs.ucsd.edu/pay/entrysch.htm )
- The pay date for salary (GSR, TA, etc.) paychecks remains January 2, 2019.
- As a reminder, submit your stipend requests to the Graduate Division through the Financial Support Request Tool (Student DB: https://student-db.grad.ucsd.edu under “Apps”)
- If you are requesting that a stipend payment be made on a previously unused index, you should assume that a minimum of at least one (1) additional week is needed to process your request.
We would greatly appreciate if you could keep in mind the following:
- In order to insure that graduate stipends are received on the first of the month, please submit your requests no later than the deadline stated above.
- Note: You may access your monthly stipend report online at: https://ga.ucsd.edu/student_db/ .
- If you have questions regarding a stipend payment fund source and/or amount, please double-check the Graduate Division Financial Support Request tool to verify the actual request.
All of the above dates assume the appropriate input deadlines have been met.
