Huddle Announcement
  • Good afternoon fellow IPPSters! My name is Jasmine Montilla and I wanted to take a moment on behalf of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Accountability Committee to extend an open invitation to anyone who wants to join our committee. Our goal is to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace for IPPS members.

How do we do this? We are one of the voices for IPPS that hold leaders accountable for EDI objectives. Some of our past conversations have centered on career tracks, professional development, succession planning/ opportunities, staff retention, hiring practices, change management, and inclusive decision making.

The team has created a seat at the table, made many strides, and continues to serve IPPS. We truly care about your participation and we would like to encourage you to join the initiative. This is how we make a better IPPS. The team meets biweekly on Fridays at 11am for an 45 minutes and we welcome any level of experience related to EDI. This includes any student talent that may be interested.

The team will be dropping the IPPS EDI page in the chat and our committee email. Feel free to reach out for more information on how to join.
