Requesting a Change of GRE Requirements
The Graduate Division Admissions and Academic Affairs Departments are committed to helping your departments for any request to change your current GRE requirements. If your department is considering either a temporary waiver or permanent removal of the GRE requirement, please see for reference the two templates provided.
Please email your request to Sally Binney at sbinney@ucsd.edu and she will ensure your request is reviewed in a timely manner. If you are requesting a permanent removal, please be sure to have your Department Chair sign your request letter.
The sample templates provided are for your reference only. You do not have to provide as much information as the sample shown for permanent removal. These are only to give you an example of submitted requests. Direct any questions to Sally Binney.
