Guru Gobind Singh Fellowship CompetitionUC San Diego's Graduate Division has received notice of the call for applications from eligible graduate students for the 2024-25 Guru Gobind Singh Fellowship. In 1988 the University received a bequest from the late Mr. Karam Singh Maughan to establish an endowment to support graduate fellowships (named for Guru Gobind Singh, the Sikh religious leader) to be awarded to graduates of universities in a specific area of India and Pakistan for the purpose of pursuing graduate study at the University of California. For AY 2024-25, the amount of the Singh Fellowship award will be $30,000. |

Award Details:The amount of the Singh Fellowship award will be $30,000. The award will be made based on the strength of the student’s academic record and supporting nomination materials. The nominating campus will commit to providing Nonresident Supplemental Tuition (NRST) support, if applicable, for the Singh Fellow, as needed, for the duration of the fellowship (assuming continued satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment). UC San Diego may only put forward one nominee. UC San Diego does not limit the amount of nominations from any one department. |
