SAH from TSS - Jan to April 2026
Here is what we know as of 04/16/2026.
This page will hold the history of the SAH from TSS releases. For current status to go SAH from TSS

SAH will receive sample TSS data into Hana DEV. (No, you can’t see it - we’re updating the piping so you don’t have to).
BIA will validate the data received, test the new SAH data loads and ensure the new ‘piping’ works.
BIA will document the views and fields that will be impacted due to business changes related to TSS. BIA will compile a list of impacted Cognos reports and share that list with SAH report developers, unfortunately Tableau does not provide a way for us to do that. UPDATE = BIA has found that all SAH views and fields will be impacted by business changes related to TSS. All reports and data integrations will also be impacted. To reduce the amount of impacts, BIA will not be changing field names in SAH.

February 27, 2026 - SAH UAT for TSS CUT-293
BIA has released the TSS data and new SAH metadata fields via Cognos/Tableau (Hana QA) for SAH Report Developers and data integration developers to test. This new data will remain in UAT (Hana QA) until the end of March.
New Fields
SIS Data Source = Student information system used as the source of the data in the row. SAH only field.
When SIS Data Source = ISIS the data is coming from ISIS Prod.
When SIS Data Source = TSS the data is coming from a TSS test environment - it will not match TSS Production.
Legacy Student PID = Student person identification number from legacy student information system. Will be null for students who started at UCSD FA26 or later.
TSS Student Number = Student identification number from TSS. Not available in ISIS. Will be null for students with records not loaded to TSS. AKA: TSN.

BIA will provide testing guidance and working sessions to support SAH report developers and SAH data integration developers. See SAH from TSS Office Hours for dates, times and zoom links.

If you use a Cognos package, Tableau data source or Column Group that comes from any view in the February list you will need to touch your report / data integration call.
SAH Report Developers can begin to modify their reports to accommodate the TSS data.

February Test Data in Hana QA
At this time TSS has not yet gone live. There are a lot of moving pieces required to launch TSS successfully.
In order to provide SAH with a set of sample data, a separate TSS Test environment has been created away from TSS production. This TSS Test environment has been loaded with:
Example TSS Student Number - will not be the same in TSS Production
Hana QA is loaded after Hana Prod - so do your UAT in the afternoons.
A limited number of students of all levels.
A limited number of records (mainly 2024) per student for the students that have been loaded.
A limited set of populated fields.
Example values that match the format of TSS.
Test records entered by UCSD staff to test different processes, these will not match ISIS or TSS.

Reminder: Views with the word ‘Demographics’ in the name only show student application data after the student has enrolled.

Data Load Revised Schedule for TSS Production
BIA has been informed in the email communication from Kerry McConnell on 3/18 that the admissions and student master data integration to TSS Production previously anticipated in mid-March is now expected later in the month. You can find more information about the TSS Cut Over Plan here: https://ucsdcollab.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SISCORE/pages/2895610510 . In specific we are tracking the status of CUT-293 Student Master Data and Admissions Complete on that page.
CUT-293 + 2 WEEK, 2026
Once CUT-293 is complete, BIA will load the production data from TSS Prod to our HANA QA environment and allow a 1-week review in SAH UAT before migrating the corresponding SAH enhancements to Hana Prod. Please allow 1 business day for our team to load and process the production TSS data in HANA QA after which we will send notification that it is ready for your review. We look forward to all of your feedback during this period.
3/31/2026 Update: BIA has been working with the TSS team to do a full-load of TSS Prod data to Hana QA. As of 9:14am BIA is actively loading the data. SAH users will not see the new rows in SAH Hana QA until we materialize our views, which is expected to be completed by end of day today, March 31. This page will be updated and an email will go out when the TSS Prod data can be viewed in SAH Hana QA.
4/01/2026 Update: Good news and bad news folks. The good news is that BIA has completed the full-load of TSS Prod data into Hana QA. The bad news is that the system IDs for Term were reset in TSS, which caused a mismatch in our lookups. Because SAH is Term based for everything, the mismatch has resulted in none of the data displaying in the FCVs. We have sent an urgent email to the TSS team to request the new system IDs. Once we receive the new system IDs we will update SAH and re-materialize. Unfortunately, the materializations take ~5 hours so we don't anticipate any UAT in Cognos or Tableau (using Hana QA) will be able to occur until late this evening, April 1.
4/02/2026 Update: Hana QA is updated and SAH is now displaying TSS data in the FCVs! Please be sure to use Hana QA to do your UAT. As a reminder, you will see rows for TSS data in the following FCVs:

What date/time did you run your test? Please note that Hana QA is loaded after Hana Prod each morning so we suggest waiting to do your Hana QA UAT after 10am.
4/07/2026 Update: BIA is still working with the TSS team to resolved some of the issues found during UAT. As such, we will be delaying the SAH Prod Release for TSS CUT-293 until Monday, April 13. Please continue your UAT and let us know if you see any further issues.
Q&A
Yes. In SAH Hana QA the TSS data is currently from TSS Production.
Yes. The data in SAH Hana QA is changing daily as we add new data from TSS Prod during our daily data loads.
No. The Student Identity Active Directory ID will not be populated in the TSS row until our May SAH UAT for TSS CUT-562 release (for existing students) or later for new students who need to complete their single sign-on.
4/13/2026 Update: On Friday, BIA identified one remaining issue requiring vendor resolution. As this is a critical issue, we will delay the SAH Production Release for TSS CUT-293 until the vendor has a resolution.
Per your request, we’ve created a new page to provide insights into the process of how TSS data gets into SAH: SAH from TSS Teamwork in Action . To support system performance, data is not pulled directly from source system tables. Instead, intermediary views are used to reduce load and ensure both the source system and receiving systems operate efficiently.
This approach is used by Activity Hubs when gathering data from Oracle and now for TSS. While it introduces an additional layer that requires quality assurance prior to release, it supports improved performance and scalability in the long term.
April 16, 2026 End of Day - SAH Prod for TSS CUT-293 TSS PROD DATA COMPLETE
4/16/26 Update: The SAH migration to Production has been completed.
BIA will push TSS related enhancements to Hana Production.
SAH Report Developers with updated reports should also request a migration to Cognos production or publish their updated workbooks to Tableau Prod.
