How do I get access to the Student Activity Hub?
Details found here: https://ucsdcollab.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACP/pages/535200139
When I get access to SAH, what do I get access to?
Report Consumers: Can request access to a set of SAH based reports by going to bah.ucsd.edu > Request Access. Each report developer is responsible for maintaining the appropriate security of their reports.
Report Developer: SAH is grouped into Core views and Restricted views that are further restricted by Topic. To see a list of contents for SAH Core views, Restricted Views and other views, go to https://ucsdcollab.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACP/pages/11175032 . Report Developer access to the SAH Core views follows an approval route that includes business need, FERPA Training, Privacy Training, Manager approval, Data Steward approval and on-boarding. Report Developer access to Restricted view requires additional approval which is specific to the data in the Restricted view.
Data Quality
Why doesn’t my SAH report match my old report?
There are a number of reasons by your SAH report may not match your old report, here are a few:
Different filters. Are you using the same filters with the same values?
Field names have changed. Field names are more specific now, are you sure the SAH field matches the old field?
Timing. Retroactive changes happen in ISIS and are reflected in SAH but are not show in the data warehouse.
Term choice. SAH includes specific fields for First Term, Current Term or every Term. Are you sure you are using the one you need?
Matching goal. SAH is designed to match ISIS (and TSS in the future).
Other. Email busintel@ucsd.edu with specific examples including the field(s) and Student PID for use to research.

Terms
How do I know what the Current Term is and when it updates?
The Current Term will reflect the term UCSD is physically in. The Current Term will remain the same until the General Campus Term End Date has passed and the next General Campus Term Start Date has occurred.
In the screenshot example the date is March 14, 2024. The Current Term is WI24. The Current Term will remain WI24 until March 28 when SAH reflects data through midnight the day before (March 27).
If there are multiple overlapping terms, the Current Term will prioritize Academic Terms over Summer Terms. When there are overlapping summer terms (and no overlapping Academic Term), the Current Term is the term with the most recent start date. If there are still multiple terms that meet that criteria, then the Current Term is the term with the latest end date. Because of this prioritization, there may be times during the year in which the Current Term Flag and related fields (e.g. Enrolled Current Term Flag) may not meet your business needs.
