Information on what kind of events are posted on the website, for how long, and which events get priority. Includes information about the Biological Sciences Event Portal and adding events to the portal.
Division Calendar (public)
The Biological Sciences Events Portal is a service of the Division of Biological Sciences to faculty, students, and colleagues. Only events that are hosted by the Division, or an official entity of the division, may be listed.
Faculty Assistants and other administrative personnel should be trained in using the Division Calendar Editor to input events on behalf of their section or faculty member.
If there is a new type of event, or special help is needed, please send a clear description of the request to biowebgroup@ucsd.edu.
Division Home Page
Our goal is to highlight major upcoming life sciences events that are hosted by the Division. Dean's office events such as the Dean's Symposium, major fundraising events, or public lectures get highest priority.
Major conferences and lectures hosted by division faculty or sections are considered on a case-by-case basis, but generally listed unless there is a compelling reason not to.
