Fellowship Tuition & Fee Payments

Priority of Fee Remission Benefits
When a student qualifies for fee remission as a benefit of academic employment, the employment-based fee remission shall take precedence over any non-employment fellowship or award payments.

This priority applies uniformly to all Graduate Division–administered fellowship programs, including but not limited to SEED, Cota-Robles, San Diego Fellowship, STARS, and TMI. Exceptions to this policy are not permitted in order to ensure consistent and equitable administration across programs.
