Welcome to the ITS Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) space. Our goal is to provide a one-stop shop full of guides, templates, best practices and training and answers to your project life-cycle and methodology questions.
The Project & Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) leads and manages the portfolio of key ITS initiatives, new service offerings, and process improvement projects. The office is responsible for guiding the prioritization, selection. and management of projects and ensuring projects are aligned with UCSD and ITS strategic goals. The PPMO supports the successful management of projects through the application of leading project management practices.
PPMO Strategic Goals
Through proven practices, the PPMO hopes to achieve the following goals:
Create and maintain a set of consistent world class project management methodologies, tools, and process for all project management engagements across ITS
Provide centralized control, coordination, and reporting of scope, change, cost, risk, opportunity, waste, and quality across all projects
Increase project success rate through increased communications, collaboration, training, awareness, and analytics-based improvements
