What is ITS-PRO?
ITS-PRO is IT Service's Project Management, Reporting, and Optimization platform. It is a comprehensive methodology, a set of standards/guides, and a world-class project management, collaboration, time tracking, and reporting tool set. It allows delivery of outcomes in a repeatable and deliberate way, consistent measurement and tracking process, and usage of data to anticipate needs and make decisions. ITS-PRO is a service enhancement tool that will further enable IT Services to deliver best-in-class products and support to our customers, colleagues, and the campus at large.
ITS-PRO for Time Tracking
We believe that time tracking will make you more productive. Time tracking is one of the most important elements of ITS as an service-oriented organization. Without proper time tracking, it is impossible to manage and balance resources, prioritize efforts, and allocate sufficient bandwidth to support maintenance and project work. You'll always know what you're doing and why you're doing it, which provides a sense of purpose. Purpose increases engagement. Engagement increases performance.

ITS-PRO for Project Management
Standardizing the project management process allows us to deliver outcomes in a repeatable and deliberate way, measure and track efforts consistently, and use data to anticipate problems early and course-correct. Ultimately, it leads to improved customer service and proven track record. There are many ways to achieve this goal. ITS has adopted a simple methodology based on breaking down a project into its essential pieces – “what is being delivered” and “how it will be delivered”, dubbed the ITS Project Ontology.
