Research Activity Hub (RAH) training offerings include resources to learn about RAH data as well as Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytics tools (Cognos and Tableau) training.

The following training options are available for RAH users.

Knowledge of the business, the data contained in the Research Activity Hub and how to use that data are required to guide decision making. Members of the Research Analytics Community of Practice provide business insight to RAH users through discussion RAH data.

Live training using RAH data was offered by Plante Moran in 2020. The customized training guides below were created from these sessions.

The train-the-trainer approach

We strongly suggest a train-the-trainer approach, where those who attended the live sessions in 2020 train others using the documentation created by the training vendor below. This method not only reinforces the trainer's knowledge but offers the benefit of their team-specific business knowledge.

IT Services Business Intelligence and Analytics provides focused BI tool training covering RAH data, BI tools or both. Class size is limited to groups of 6-15 report developers.
