Annual renewal of time tracking areas
Each year, a new set of general time logging issues are created as follows:
- Every year, starting in January, the new year's general time logging issues will be created.
- If, in January, you still log time against the previous year's general time issue, you will receive a friendly reminder (including a link to the new one).
- In February, last year's general time logging issues will be marked as "Inactive" and locked (so make sure you are up to date on your time logging!)
- The title of the general time logging will start with the YEAR, i.e. "2023 - Organize Workspace"
- The issues will still continue to live in SVCOPS, but will get a new key (i.e. SVCOPS-14 to SVCOPS-XXX).
Note: Activities starting with "SVCOPS-" are scoped to department-wide effort and used by all IT Services staff. The ITS Senior Management Team (SMT) is accountable for creating, altering or retiring "SVCOPS-" activities.
