Below is an example template for requesting a permanent change of GRE requirements for a department's program. Please note that your department's reasoning for permanently waiving the GRE may be different than the one displayed, and the format of the letter does not need to be exactly identical to the example below (i.e. title, amount of paragraphs, etc).
The example below is provided only to demonstrate a detailed reasoning for changing GRE requirements. This is not a requirement of the Letter of Exception. All requests of temporary GRE changes should accurately reflect a department's review process.
