Welcome to the DAAD Fellowship Collab Page: The DAAD Fellowship will be accepting nominations for the 2024-2025 AY Cohort in August 2023. If you are seeking a campus nomination please submit a nomination response below. If you will be self-nominating please work with your department to submit a Kuali Record.

Brief Description of the award

  • Several scholarship opportunities for all academic fields and on all academic levels.


Award Stipends / Benefits

  • Grants usually cover the cost of living during the stay in Germany and often include a travel stipend.

Specific Notes/ Exceptions

  • The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers.
  • DAAD is a Government funded organization.


Eligibility

  • Open to applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in College/University
  • Not required to demonstrate financial need
  • Not limited to specific fields of study
  • No Minimum GPA

  • A convincing and feasible project, and a passion for studying/researching in Germany.

Information FAQs


Nomination Materials

  • Graduate departments/programs can each submit one nomination by Monday, October 24, 2022 .

  • Please submit: 1) the nominee's CV, 2) a letter of recommendation endorsed by the department chair/program director and 3) a 1-2 page summary of the candidate's dissertation.

  • Please submit all nomination materials as one single .pdf file via Google Form.
