https://grad.ucsd.edu/diversity/oar2/programs/stars/index.html Summer residential research experience and graduate school preparation activities for undergraduates at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), California State Universities (CSUs), University of California (UCs), and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Primarily targets students' outside of UC San Diego. Your department may fund undergraduate students' participation in STARS (both UC San Diego and non-UC San Diego)
Your department or faculty may be interested in writing grants to provide research experiences for undergraduate students. Your faculty may leverage the https://grad.ucsd.edu/diversity/oar2/programs/stars/index.html program to provide administrative support, so that your faculty can focus on the research component of a summer research program. Contact Angeline Yang avyang@ucsd.edu for more information or to get a Letter of Support. All STARS programming, and/or related costs must be written into grant proposals.
