You can search for issues using basic search and advanced search. This is really helpful when trying to find things.
Step-by-step guide
Go to JIRA
- Click on Issues → Search for issues
- Switch between Basic or Advanced
- In is useful to start in Basic, select the project and issue types you care about to get you started.
- The "Contain text" and assignee fields are really useful if you don't know the project or issuetype.
