Overview

The initiative seeks to improve diversity and strengthen UC graduate programs by investing in relationships between UC faculty and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Two-part Initiative

  1. Faculty grant program to establish partnerships with HBCUs
  2. Doctoral student fellowships for past participants in UC-HBCU research programs
