Overview
The initiative seeks to improve diversity and strengthen UC graduate programs by investing in relationships between UC faculty and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
The UC-HCBU Initiative is two-fold:
- Faculty grant program to establish partnerships with HBCUs
- Doctoral student fellowships for past participants in UC-HBCU research programs
