In the JIRA Portfolio “New Experience” you may see the alert icon beside epics or tasks and when you click on it the message reads “Ends after parent”. The Target End on the task is later than the Target End on the epic it’s in. This alert shows you when a task(s) in an epic has missed the Target End for the epic. You can either make adjustments (ie. assignee or weekly hours) to get the task done sooner or adjust the Target End on the Epic to (or after) the latest Target End on the task(s) in the epic. This will correct your Gantt bar for the Epic and the alert will go away.
