Customize what you see in Tempo Timesheets
Using the JIRA Advanced Search to create filters is on of the core functions in JIRA and filters can be used in different ways for Time Tracking and Reports in Tempo Timesheets.
You can see on this page an example of JIRA Filters usage in Tempo Timesheets. There are two shared filters used by the GreenCloud Tango team to log work and show report of the time tracking for all issues in current sprint.
User Timesheet
You can select filters in your user timesheet to display issue result in order to make it easier for you to track your time. The filters selected display all issues in the filter result.
JQL for Tango Current Sprint filter ...
John has selected this filter in when viewing the user timesheet of his team members. He can see all the work logged on the issues displayed. He has dis-selected User Timesheet in the multi filter picker as he is only interested in the current sprint and the selected user is also working on issues that are not in the sprint.

The Tango Current Sprint Assigned to Me shared filter is used by all team members so they have a display of all issues in the sprint that are assigned to them.

Jessie has selected this filter in her user timesheet to get a great overview of the issues in current sprint that are assigned to her. Since all her issues are displayed she can log work by clicking a cell in the timesheet.

Advanced Timesheet
You can select filters in Advanced Timesheet to display issues in the filter result that has time logged within the selected period. This is the Timesheet John is using to verify that all team members have completed their time tracking for each day of the sprint.

John has selected the timesheet to display weekly and at the end of the sprint he selects a custom date range that matched the sprint start and end dates.
Tempo Log Work Dialog
You can select the Filter option in Tempo Log Work dialog to narrow your issue search to a filter result. The filters needs to be marked as favorite for the user.
