Project Execution
The purpose of this phase is to carry out the project tasks as outlined in the project management plan, and to produce the project deliverables. “Get the work done.” Typically the greatest amount of resources and effort are applied in the Execution phase.

The Project Execution phase is where the project plan is put into action, and the project deliverables are produced. The project manager and team carry out the project tasks and activities, manage project resources, and ensure that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
