Tableau Upgrade to 2023.3.14 - Complete

Start testing today in Tableau QA. Tableau Prod/Public will be upgraded Friday, April 11 at 5pm.

1. VPN is required for Tableau QA access

2. Do NOT upgrade your desktop until after April 11. You should currently be on version 2023.1.x.

• Can you sign like a customer would?

• Can you navigate the environment?

• Can you open your report?

• Do the filters work as expected?

• Do the links within your report work as expected?

• Can you publish to the upgraded environment?

Send all your testing feedback to busintel@ucsd.edu prior to April 11.

How do I see if a data source is being used?

In Tableau, go to the Explore window.

1. Change the explore object to ‘All Data Sources’ (note, you should only see the data sources you have access to)

2. Click the filter on the right to see filter options

3. Focus the list on key data sources
