Access & Training

An OGL user account must be set up before training can be completed. The appropriate level of access and level you are given and the training you are required to take are based on your role. Please refer to the Roles & Responsibilities page to learn more.

  1. You will receive an invitation to set up your OGL account

  2. Follow the steps to set up your password and create your account

    1. NOTE: Your home page is the OGL console which is a shared space, all UCSD users who have an active account will be working in this shared space

  3. Click on the OGL widget

  4. In the Getting Started section, expand the drop-down arrow.

  5. Complete six console tours

  6. Complete four tutorials

  7. Access & Activate OGL Digital Learning (follow the 3 steps listed)

    1.  Upon completing step 5, you will gain access to MyLearn, where you will find additional OGL training resources.

    2.  Navigate to the Cloud Application SaaS tab and select the OGL - Oracle Guided Learning button located at the bottom right

  8. Developers must complete the "Become A Certified Oracle Guided Learning Developer" training to obtain their certification before creating content in OGL

  9. Upon completion, send your certification to aportlock@ucsd.edu
