Posting Cost Distribution of Tuition Remission to Financial Ledgers

Tuition remission for GSR (GSRTF) will continue post monthly to the same PTAF/COA as the gross pay, using the pooled rate and adjusted to reflect the proportional split of effort. 

Tuition remission for Instructional Assistants (IATF) will post quarterly as follows, using actual tuition/fee rates and adjusted to reflect the proportional split of effort:

  • Resident tuition & campus fees will post to the same PTAF/COA as the gross pay
  • Non-resident supplemental tuition (NRST), where applicable, will post to a single project-task provided by the academic home department for the instructional student employee.
