Subject Line:  3pm Friday 7/17/20 EAH Enhancements Start

Hi folks - We'll start applying the new security and latest enhancements (20200713 - EAH Start UAT Release Notes) to our Production environments today at 3pm.  We ask that all EAH users exit production EAH at 3pm today to allow time for migrations.  If you choose not to exit then you may be impacted or see some oddities.  Migrations should be complete by 6:30pm tonight.

Also - UCOP will not be sending us any UCPath data this weekend. 

Have you requested the departments you need for reporting in EAH?  If you are not a UCPath transactor and you have not filled out a form to request departments then starting at 6:30pm your Cognos or Tableau report will return no data.

  1. If you are not a UCPath transactor and you want to run the HR/Payroll reports found at reports.ucsd.edu then you’ll need to fill out the UCPath Reports Access Request form and request the departments you want to see in EAH.
  2. If you are not a UCPath transactor and you want to build reports in Cognos or Tableau using EAH then you’ll need to fill out Employee Activity Hub Report Developer Access Request again to request the departments you want to see in EAH.
  3. If you are not a UCPath transactor, you are a data integration developer andyou test your data integration in Cognos/Tableau then you’ll need to fill out Employee Activity Hub Report Developer Access Request to request the departments you want to see in EAH.
