FACAH-PersonLocation-View Quick Start Guide
Overview
This view includes detail information about how people are assigned to space at UCSD.
A Person can be a UCSD employee, student, or affiliate who has been assigned a space.
A Space can be a room, sections of a room like cubes or desks, conference room, hallway, restroom, patio, closet, any physical location within a building.
For UCSD Employees who exist in UC Path, employee information from EAH-Workforce-View has be pre-joined with this view.

Have a field name but not sure what view to look in? Search the Activity Hub Field List.
Data is loaded into the Student Activity Hub (SAH) each night. To see when the data load completed, use see this report: Tableau > Public > AH Data Load Status Report.

Critical Concepts
Focus on the Person
This view has only 1 row per person.
A person can have 1 primary location and multiple secondary position, but only 1 secondary position is displayed in this view.
Employee Data
Only available for Facilities persons who exist in the Employee Activity Hub - this does not include many historical employees nor affiliates.
Pre-joined to EAH-Workforce-View based on the employee primary position.
Not in This View
Reported location - this view should not be used for Space Analysis.
Unassigned spaces - this view only includes people who have been assigned a space and thus, only spaces that have been assigned.
