Access	FINAH Report Developer: Give you access to build reports using FINAH https://blink.ucsd.edu/technology/bi/sources/index.html Report Access per folder: Gives you access to the reports in a folder Edit: Ask the report developer to either share the report with you or add you to their Active Directory security group for that folder. bah.ucsd.edu > Tab for the report you want to make a copy of > Ask Question View: bah.ucsd.edu > Tab for the reports you want to use > Request Access
Hana	FINAH = organization of data on a server Server = Hana Tableau: You only get Hana Prod unless the Tableau data source says -QA in which it is pointed at Hana-QA. You cannot choose what the data source points at. Cognos DEV: You can pick Hana-DEV, Hana-QA or Hana-Prod. Always pick Hana-Prod. The only time you need Hana-QA is when you are testing enhancement. Hana-Dev: updates maybe weekly, it's where the BIA team does our development Hana-QA: right now is updated daily with Oracle Production data but sometimes we load Oracle QA data here. Not available during evenings or weekends. Hana-Prod: updated every night with Oracle Production data

Monday Aug 11	Data load issue for some Activity Hubs, message was posted to status.ucsd.edu as we loaded data during business hours, causing reports to be empty

Extended UAT	FINAH Aug Prod Release will be Monday Aug 28 due to Cognos upgrade Due to the Cognos upgrade, migrations will be frozen, including the FINAH August enhancements. This means there will be an extended UAT period. UAT will start Thursday Aug 10, PROD migration will be Monday, Aug 28 Cognos upgrade page: Cognos 11.2.4 - August 4 to August 25, 2023 Please continue to provide feedback by emailing busintel@ucsd.edu Judy: Not uncommon in past upgrades where something that was "forgiven" in an earlier version is no longer "forgiven" in the new version

FINAH / SAH / FACAH DDC	DDC = Data Definitions Committee Goal: name fields so that they are unique and as clear as possible regarding what that field does Goal: providing a business definition for each field A group of SME in the data and lead report developers who meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to discuss. UAT Reminders	See instructions at bottom of Collab Release notes page Hana QA data is the same as Hana Prod Hana QA not available in evenings or weekends, so sometimes it takes a little longer on Monday morning to refresh the data
Hana QA Duty Cycle	A duty cycle has been implemented for Hana QA. During this time, Hana QA will not be available. Please schedule your UAT work around this duty cycle. Hana QA will not be available from 7pm-5am nightly Hana QA will not be available Saturday and Sunday Data loads will occur from 5am-10am on weekdays

FAQ: Balance Balance Sign Signed Balance	Balance: Absolute value of the balance, will display all values as positive values. Balance Sign: Displays 1 for debit and -1 for credit so you can multiple this fields by another measure to quickly turn the other measure into negative credit values and positive debit values. Credit Balance: Displays only the credit values as positive values. All debit values are set to 0. Debit Balance: Displays only the debit values as positive values. All credit values are set to 0. Signed Balance: Balance with negative credit value and positive debit value. Entry Type: C indicates credit and D indicates debit. *Can replace with Amount in other views
