Portfolio Process

• Proposal: Use the “Backlog” of project proposals and charters. SMT members would get notified and would then need to sign off Yes or No and leave comment in 7 working days. SMT would be responsible for assessment of project proposal/charter to identify impact. Kal or the system would then remind SMT who hasn’t responded within the timeframe.

  • Project Initiation

    • Charter is emailed to kzsamboky@ucsd.edu

    • Currently this is a mailbox; should be changed to create an issue in the ITS Pro Portfolio backlog.

    • Then reviewed by PPMO for completeness and assigned 'SMT Review' status that informs SMT they need to review / comment

    • All SMT must approve the project
