Critical Concepts

Pre-Joined Data

• Pre-Joined with SAH-Demographics-View Quick Start Guide

Per-Term Data

• Similar fields to what is in SAH-Demographics-View but will display one row per term

• Allows you to see the history of a student

• Allows you to see future terms that the student has enrolled in

Expected Null Values

• Students enrolled in future terms may not have values for Degree, Major or Minor.

• Transfer students will always have a null student level for their transfer records, but once they have UCSD records those records will be populated.

1. Registration Status in (Registered, Enrolled)

Granularity

Granularity is the scale or level of detail present in a set of data.  It identifies where levels of uniqueness exists in the data.  The data lives in the view at the lowest level, but each BI tool totals the levels differently.
