Updates to Summary


EDI & How it Relates to Hiring


  • Include EDI verbiage in job posting
    • This way the person applying for the position is aware of IPPS's views on EDI
  • Prior to posing EDI-related questions during interview give a blurb on what EDI is and how it relates to the position

EDI for Managers/Supervisors


  • Take baseline training for all leaders
  • Provide training > glossary terms to make language accessible to managers
    • Ensure there is value in the training

Risk Management is not a key factor


  • HR approval is not required as an Executive Champion
  • Ted will serve as the point of contact as a scape goat?
  • Survey is Okayed for presentation
  • There is no need to ask permission but have honest tough conversations

Too Many Strategies


  • If we want to change a process don't change it yourself
    • Allow and advise the process owner to change to meet the gap
  • We have a hiring group
  • We have Ted handling White Allyship
  • We have Heather leading social responsibility for IPPS partners
  • Irvin and Kristen are implementing a mentor program within IPPS
  • What strategies are involved inherently that we will complete?
    • Do these have to be listed?
