PA Goals for Supervisors/Managers

  • Got something in the PA but we can update

  • Call for Lead Alumni to facilitate conversations on Race

    • Got access to what employees went through together

  • Heather will follow up with Amber about

  • ITS brought up the Better Allies writer - this can be possibility to IPPS

  • Requiring that managers/supervisor subscribe to the newsletter

  • Maybe pulling up the newsletter and sharing it in the Huddle

  • Research how Managers/Supervisors can lead EDI discussions and they can be equipped to have those conversations

  • What do managers and supervisors need to better support IPPS?

  • Are all supervisors/managers having consistent 1:1s?

    • Heather will send message to CLT to ensure that 1:1s are a topic of conversation.

  • Kacy:

    • Best practices on how to best support neurodivergent staff & student talent

    • Intergenerational training

  • How can the trainings not be made a checkmark goal?

    • How can we make employees to be more proactive when taking required EDI related trainings?

    • Maybe giving reminders every couple of months

      • Can this committee play a role on giving these reminders

      • Campaign? Make it fun? Make it a competition?

      • Training Silent Disco - get together and everyone does the training

  • Building a form to request a consultation CFO Lead Fellow

    • CFO Portfolio can use if they want someone to lead a race presentation or provide resources

  • Still in the building stages

  • What is the reason of the form?

    • This came out of the CFO Portfolio lead fellows meeting on what they can offer to the broader CFO Portfolio

  • Setting small goals

  • Getting the deck from Amber to share with the group

  • Shared notes from that meeting

  • Maybe having a speaker - once a quarter

    • Be able to give something back to the organization

    • Written resources are great, but there is a lot of email overload

    • Bring exposure, inspire IPPS

  • Choosing a topic that you are passionate about and leading that project

  • potentially bringing Shaun Travers to talk about gender

    • @Mary Wong will draft something and KM or HV will reach out to Shaun
