Training Budget


  • D&T 9k budget
    • At least one person gets to go > come back and actively show the group
    • We will not be able to send everyone due to budgeting limits ($3k too high)
    • Scholarship that the University offers to cover the cost of one other person

    • There is no set PP cost bc it would be really low
    • Tony: $3k for Cornell > dividing into per person and finding a course that fits this budget
  • Contact EDI office for recommendations for training
    • HV and Kacy to invite EDI folks to our next check-in (email Shawn)

 

LEAD FELLOWS



  • Want to be incorporated and help with moving the initiative forward
  • Exclusive Excellence Committee
    • HV or KM should bring back key notes from those meetings
    • Long term Pierre wants consistency across all units regarding EDI
  • TASKED: report any pertinent EDI information to our team since they are in the room
    • Tapping into the LEAD privilege
    • Information liaison
  • TASKED: SIO EDI efforts
    •   HV and KM want to build relationships with EDI SIO person
    • Check in next month to see if we can meet with them

UCOP Guidelines for EDI


  • They focus on supplier relations and social programs > as their EDI focus
    • Shawn might know what the UCOP expectation is

  • Request 3k for all 5 of us
  • Send copy of email to Glynda to Kacy for her to contact her direct EDI contact (SHAWN)
  • Reoccurring meeting with CLT / LEADFELLOWS (including Ted and Patrick)
